SarahDee’s Collaboration with a Brand New Yarn from Scheepjes – Little Darling
The time has finally come to introduce Little Darling, a brand-new chenille yarn that has been nearly a year in the making! This launch is the result of countless hours of creative exploration, color curation, and meticulous design work—all with the goal of bringing something truly special to the crochet community.
I have poured my heart into creating designs that showcase the magic of this yarn, carefully selecting and curating color palettes that inspire creativity. Every stitch, every color choice, and every tiny detail has been considered to make this project into something playful, practical, and absolutely adorable. And now, I finally get to share it with you!
Meet Little Darling Yarn
Little Darling is a game-changer for chenille yarn lovers. It’s a DK-weight, sturdy chenille yarn designed for both beauty and function. Whether you’re making whimsical amigurumi, cozy baby blankets, or delightful home decor, this yarn offers both versatility and charm. Here’s what makes it stand out:
- Frog-Friendly – Unlike most chenille yarns, Little Darling allows for gentle frogging without excessive shedding or damage, making it forgiving for crochet mistakes.
- Minimal Shedding – Say goodbye to fluff disasters! While a lint roller might be handy for finishing touches, this yarn holds together far better than traditional chenille options.
- Rich Color Selection – With 32 beautifully curated shades ranging from neutrals, to soft pastels to deep, vibrant hues, the possibilities are endless!
Introducing the 7 Beautifully Curated Palettes
To make working with this yarn even more exciting, I’ve created seven carefully crafted palettes, each featuring a selection of eight handpicked colors. These palettes are designed to bring specific themes to life and complement my exclusive new patterns.

As you can see the comparison below, each of the skeins in the curated boxes will contain 25g skeins. The full skeins will contain 50g.
Each of these palettes are available for purchase, along with an exclusive set of patterns, mindfully designed to highlight the unique colors in the SarahDee Crochet branded boxes that Scheepjes has thoughtfully created to feature my designs.
